Tim here....

Tim here.

First of all I want the thank you, thank you, thank you for all the support, both prayer and physically you have given and are presently giving me and my family during this most trying time. The Lord's mercy is great and good and I have known that to the fullest extent from my brothers and sisters in Christ - believe me.

I am now at home now (my mother-in-law's) residence in Texas City which is single story and seems to have just been made for my situation. My brother-in-law build me a fine ramp on the back door which allows me to enter and exit the house in my wheel chair at will. I am able to tool around in the large back yard on the grass (which is taxing in itself) and to do some chores around the house. I've been able to cook some, both in the house and on the electric smoker in the back in order to somewhat help Bonnie with her caring for her mother who is in assisted living and not doing well at all.

This afternoon I have an appointment at TIRR (Texas Institute for Research and Rehabilitation) and am looking forward to that as they specialize in spinal cord and back injuries. My daughter asked me to not be shallow on my first blog and to put the "nitty gritty as to my condition. Well I think it's as good as can be expected under the circumstances under which I find myself here but the nitty gritty is that I realize I am extremely fortunate, blessed would be more accurate to be where I am today. Room does not premit my listing all the circumstances of knowing the Lord's faithfullness in all this.

Like how I obtained the Doctor, I have now to Dan and Kathryn Fischer and on another occasion Hershel Rosser ( a senior pastor at Vineyard in Sugar Land) laying hands on me in prayer and me feeling an improvement in my physical condition the next day.
These and many more are the nitty gritty of my condition.and I suspect will continue to be.

Again thank you, thank you, thank you.

Tim

Hi there. Been wondering how you're doing since we haven't seen any recent posts. Would love to come visit, but don't know where to find you in Texas City. Hope someone from Palmer or another church is visiting on a regular basis. We are so thankful that you are doing good and we still have you on our prayer list for more recovery. Take care and keep in touch. Love to you and Bonnie

Tim,
Well it's over a month since the June 15 entry; and I hope and pray (regular like) that you are continuing to improve. Do you have a rod holder on that chair, and a net hanging from the armrest? If not, when someone, closer to you than I, asks you what they can do for you find a handicap assessible lake or a fishing pier and go get some!(Just stay on the dry side of the water)
Love Dave and Cherie

I see Dave has posted for us. We await another update and hope all is well and progressing. Do you still have your old email address? I will try to reach you that way.
